Sornad Ward Commemorates Noven Jevan

Loretto, Sept 22: The Monti Fest celebration was celebrated in Sornad Ward with devotion and joy.  It began with a  special prayer followed  by offering flowers to Mother Mary. Mrs. Helen Sequeira led the prayer service. Parish priest Rev.Fr. Francis Crasta bestowed blessings for the upcoming year, singing hymns in praise of Mother Mary, and  added blessed" Nove" to the Vorn. It was distributed to the gathering.

All the ward members participated with great reverence. Following this, there was World Peace Day celebration, representatives from the Loreto Agrar Lions Club were present and lion Anthony Martis addressed the gathering the importance of the peace in life.  The entire event was led by Jesvita Barboza. The ward Gurkar Mr. Alex Sequeira, gave a vote of thanks to all attendees, marking the successful conclusion of the celebration.
