New Parish Pastoral Council Elected at Our Lady of Loretto Church (2026–2028)

Our Lady of Loretto Church joyfully marked an important milestone with the election and oath-taking ceremony of the new Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) for the term 2026–2028, held during the New Year Holy Mass.

After the Holy Eucharist, the Parish Priest solemnly administered the oath to the newly elected PPC members. The members publicly affirmed their commitment and signed the oath document at the altar, in the presence of the faithful, symbolising their dedication to serve the parish with responsibility and unity.

On this occasion, the Parish Priest expressed his sincere gratitude to the outgoing PPC office bearers and members for their dedicated service and cooperation. Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Cyprian D’Souza (Vice President), Mrs. Shaila Barboza (Secretary), and Mr. Prakash Vas (Coordinator), along with all the PPC members, for their valuable contributions to parish life.

The Holy Mass was solemnly celebrated by Rev. Fr. Arun D’Souza, Principal of St. Dominic School, as the Main Celebrant, along with Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, Rev. Fr. Jason Monis, Fr.Anil Fernandes and Fr Cypriain carlo.

A special highlight of the celebration was the honouring of students who achieved distinction in SSLC, PUC, Degree, and Master’s examinations. The parish acknowledged and congratulated these students for their academic excellence, encouraging them to continue striving for knowledge, values, and service.

This significant event marked a new beginning for the Parish Pastoral Council and celebrated the achievements of the parish youth, as the parish community prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, and blessings upon the newly elected members and the students in their journey ahead.
