Kuprady Ward celebrates 'Novem Jevan' on the occasion of Nativity Feast

15 September 2024, Loretto: The Kuprady Ward gathered on Sunday, September 15, at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of Mother Mary at the residence of Mr. James Rodrigues. The event was graced by Sister Idoline, who was present as the guest of honor.

The celebration began with a tribute to Infant Mary, where the ward members offered flowers, recited prayers, and sang hymns in a display of devotion. Sister Idoline Rodrigues then shared her reflections on the significance of the Nativity of Mother Mary, emphasizing its importance in nurturing family life.

The event featured fun activities and games, engaging participants from small children to the elderly, ensuring everyone enjoyed the celebration. Prizes were handed out to the winners, adding to the festive spirit. Mrs. Lilly D'Souza skillfully compered the event, guiding the proceedings.

A delicious meal was served by Mr. James Rodrigues and his family, bringing the community together in fellowship. The celebration saw the participation of 50 people from 27 families, making it a joyful and memorable occasion for all.
