Gandhi Jayanti Celebration and Shramadana at Loretto Aided School

02 October, Loretto: On October 2nd, in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, a special event was held at Loretto Aided School. Distribution of uniform to the needy children was held. School extends thanks to Mr. Lancy Rego, owner of JMJ Bakery, for his generous donation of uniforms to 20 students. The donation ceremony took place in the presence of Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta (Correspondent), HM Sr. Idoline Rodrigues, teachers, and students.

Additionally, a Shramadan (cleanliness drive) was conducted on the same day, with HM Sr. Idoline, teachers, and students actively participating, reflecting the Gandhian principles of cleanliness and community service.

This event was a meaningful way to celebrate the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and support the students of Loretto Aided School.
