October 2, Loretto: On the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a community cleanliness drive was organized in collaboration with Loretto Church, Lions Club Agrar Loretto, Rotary Club, and Amtady Gram Panchayat. This program aimed to promote Gandhiji's principles of cleanliness and social responsibility, while also focusing on maintaining environmental cleanliness.
The event began in the morning, after members gathered at the premises of Loretto Church. Volunteers from all the organizations took the initiative to clean public spaces, roads, and areas around the church.
More than 100 people, including members of Lions Club, Rotary Club, Amtady Gram Panchayat, and Loretto Church, participated in the event. The cleanliness drive concluded successfully, with large amounts of waste being collected and properly disposed of. The areas around the church were thoroughly cleaned.
This program instilled a sense of unity and responsibility in the community, reflecting Gandhiji's principles.
