The ICYM of Our Lady of Loretto Church celebrated Children’s Day with a lively event that brought joy, games, and treats for the young children of the parish. The program was organized by Melisha Sequeira and her dedicated team, who ensured a fun-filled day for all the children gathered.
The celebration began after the second Mass with a warm welcome address delivered by ICYM President Snehal Rosario, setting the tone for an engaging and festive event. Jesvita Barboza, the MC for the day, guided the activities with enthusiasm and humor, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
The highlight of the day was a series of entertaining games coordinated by Melisha Sequeira and team, which delighted the children and brought out their competitive spirit. Adding to the excitement, the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Francis Crasta and the School Principal Rev.Fr.Jason Monis joined the children in an action song, demonstrating their support and sharing in the joyful celebration.
After the games, children were treated to delicious ice cream, which added a sweet note to the festivities. The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the children’s efforts and participation. The vote of thanks was delivered by Alvia Pearl Rodrigues, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the successful event.
The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including the Parish Patrol Council Vice President Mr. Cyprian D'Souza, PPC Secretary Mrs. Shaila Barboza, Coordinator Mr.Prakash Vaz, and ICYM animator Mr. Alwyn Pinto.
