May 25, Loretto: The Feast of St. John Berchmans was joyfully celebrated at Our Lady of Loretto Church, with enthusiastic participation from both boys and girls serving on the altar. The entire liturgy was beautifully led by the altar servers and members of the Legion of Mary, adding a special spiritual significance to the celebration.
Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta presided over the Holy Eucharist and offered special prayers for the young participants. In his homily, he encouraged parents to support and guide their children to nurture vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
After the Mass, a special gathering was held for the altar servers. The event was graced by PPC Vice President Mr. Cyprian Dsouza, Secretary Mrs. Shaila Barboza, Commission Coordinator Mr. Prakash Vas, and Superior Sr. Idoline Rodrigues.
The cultural program featured a graceful prayer dance and a meaningful skit performed by the students. Fr. Francis urged the young faithful to lead a prayerful life and take inspiration from their patron saint, St. John Berchmans, whose dedication and holiness serve as a powerful example.
